Orlando is a great place to visit, don’t get me wrong, However, going in the middle of summer can be really brutal being in the middle of the state. We had the unfortunate event of buying tickets to see a reggae festival at this outdoor venue, arrived, not one square foot of shade. We wanted to leave and come back, no reentry.
If you do go, October, in my opinion is the best time. Universal studios puts on one hell of a Halloween event, that is completely worth the trip it self, which getting an Airbnb was much cheaper and could make the hike to the park. Then, of course, there’s Disney. enough said. Other things to do:

- Disney Springs
- City Walk
- Go Karts
